Terms of Service

By accessing or using OpenMetrica ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service.

These terms apply to all users, including visitors, free-tier users, and paying subscribers.

OpenMetrica provides privacy-friendly web analytics tools that allow you to track and analyze website traffic without collecting personal data or using cookies. The Service includes a dashboard, tracking script, API access, and related features as described on our website.

To use the Service, you must create an account and provide accurate information. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access

You must be at least 18 years old or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction to create an account.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Track websites you do not own or have authorization to monitor
• Attempt to collect personal data through manipulation of the tracking script
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code
• Resell or redistribute the Service without written permission

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually, depending on your selection. All prices are in EUR and exclusive of applicable taxes.

Annual plans are billed upfront for the full year. Monthly plans are billed on the same date each month. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time — changes take effect immediately and billing is prorated.

We accept payment via major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) processed securely through Stripe. Annual plans may also be paid by bank transfer upon request.

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Upon cancellation, your account will remain active until the end of the current billing period.

Monthly plans: no refunds for partial months. Annual plans: eligible for a prorated refund within the first 30 days. After 30 days, no refunds are issued but you retain access until the end of your billing cycle.

Free-tier accounts may be terminated if inactive for more than 12 consecutive months.

You retain full ownership of all analytics data generated through the Service. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your data.

You may export your aggregated statistics at any time through the dashboard or API. Upon account deletion, your account is removed and the erasure of your analytics data starts, to be completed within 30 days. Entries of the security audit log are kept without your user id.

We aim for 99.99% uptime and provide status updates at status.openmetrica.com. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted service and are not liable for downtime caused by factors beyond our reasonable control.

We reserve the right to perform scheduled maintenance with at least 48 hours advance notice.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OpenMetrica shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the European Union and the Republic of Lithuania. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Vilnius, Lithuania.

The Service is operated by Akovana UAB, company code 302859437, registered at Didzioji Street 18, 01128 Vilnius, Lithuania.
