Funnels and event properties on Free
The OpenMetrica Free plan includes 50 goals, 20 funnels and custom event property reports. Plausible Cloud places funnels and custom properties on Business. Both products offer saved filters, scroll goals, traffic exclusions and property discovery.
A capacity-based plan ladder
OpenMetrica paid families increase traffic capacity, sites and members. Plausible combines volume with feature tiers. The prices above use different currencies, so they do not establish that one is cheaper.
Understand what each allowance counts
Plausible counts custom events in the same monthly allowance as pageviews. OpenMetrica meters them separately, and with a scroll goal its tracker sends about one event per page view. Compare your expected event volume as well as pageviews before choosing a tier.
Where Plausible has more scope
Plausible supports custom properties on pageviews as well as events, longer report retention and higher-tier integrations. OpenMetrica attaches custom properties to events only.
Bring a supported export
OpenMetrica accepts a Plausible export ZIP for supported historical aggregates from the last five years. Custom events and properties are not imported, and a new successful import replaces the site's previous active import.
